Someone stands at the front, or kneels beside someone in a prayer line, and speaks words they believe God has given. The room goes still. A few people reach for their phones. Then the service moves on, and the words start to disappear.
Ask that church a year later what was said, and you get three versions and a shrug.
I built Doxa because I believe the God who speaks is worth listening to carefully, and listening carefully includes remembering. Scripture is full of people who kept what God said so they could see Him keep His word. Habakkuk was told to write the vision down and make it plain (Habakkuk 2:2). Mary treasured what she heard and pondered it (Luke 2:19). Paul told Timothy to fight well by the prophecies once made about him (1 Timothy 1:18), which means Timothy still remembered them.
Today Doxa for Churches is open to every church.
What it does
Doxa gives your church one place to steward the prophecies spoken over it.
Record. A member records a prophecy the day it is given: the words, who spoke them, over whom, when, and where. Say it or type it.
Weigh. The people you appoint weigh each prophecy against Scripture and the person of Jesus. This is 1 Corinthians 14:29 with a place to stand: let the others weigh what is said. No one weighs a word alone.
Hold what is good. Weighing and confirming are separate steps done by different people, so no single voice can push a word through. Your leaders see where every prophecy stands.
Remember. When God does what He said, someone writes the story beside the word, and the whole church gets to see it.
On the board, any prophecy can be opened in Doxa Engage, with the word in view, to bring Scripture alongside it. Members join your church from one link or a QR code.
Doxa's part is small on purpose. Doxa never writes, interprets or grades a prophecy. People hear, people record, your leaders weigh. Your church's words are private to the people you invite, and we never use them to train AI.
Why recording matters
Scripture is clear about how a church handles prophecy. Let two or three speak, and let the others weigh what is said (1 Corinthians 14:29). Do not despise prophecies, but test everything and hold fast what is good (1 Thessalonians 5:20-21). Test the spirits (1 John 4:1).
Each of those steps needs the words themselves. You can only weigh what you can still read. You can only hold fast to what you kept. And you can only remember God's faithfulness when the story of what He did sits beside the word He spoke. Recording is the step that makes weighing, holding and remembering possible, long after the moment in the room has passed.
For churches that carry safeguarding responsibility, a written record of what is spoken over people is also a protective practice.
What it costs
Doxa for Churches is free to start. No card needed, and your congregation is never charged. Every new church gets 30 days to see what it's like, with weighing and holding included. After that, the church plan is one bill for the church, shown at doxa.app/for-churches.
Where to begin
Set up your church. It takes a few minutes: doxa.app/for-churches.
Start with a course. If your congregation holds mixed convictions about whether God still speaks, begin with the free small-group courses at doxa.app/courses. The six-week inquiry Does God Still Speak? is built for exactly that church.
If you lead a church, a prophetic team or a network and want to talk first, write to hello@doxa.app. I read every message.
Your church was never meant to forget what God said.
